Heat Seal & Cut - Bar Combinations:

Force Global Heat Seal Bar-F. Ropex Bar Components.

Force Global Heat Seal Bar-D. Ropex Bar Components.

System Design...

This heat seal jaw combination uses Bar-Insul insulation for the heat seal band backing. The opposed bar is faced with silicone glass fiber board (Sil-Glass), this provides the required opposed hard cutting surface for seal and cut type applications.

Pros:
Bar-Insul provides very good heat seal band insulation and minor compensation for heat seal band imperfections.

Cons:

Is this configuration ideal for Validation? NO...
this system is not thermally balanced.

Force Global Heat Seal Bar-F. Ropex Bar Components.

Force Global Heat Seal Bar-E. Ropex Bar Components.

System Design...

This heat seal jaw combination uses silicone glass fiber board (Sil-Glass) insulation for the heat seal band backing. The opposed bar is also faced with Sil-Glass, this provides the required opposed hard cutting surface for seal and cut type applications.

Pros:
Sil-Glass provides a very firm heat seal band backing insulation.

Cons: Non-compensating.

Is this configuration ideal for Validation? NO...
this system is not thermally balanced.

Force Global Heat Seal Bar-B. Ropex Bar Components.

Force Global Heat Seal Bar-E. Ropex Bar Components.

System Design...

This heat seal jaw combination uses silicone glass fiber board (Sil-Glass) insulation for the heat seal band backing. The opposed bar is faced with silicone. This provides a surface that conforms to the cutting wire profile, giving a final heat seal width equivalent to that of the heat seal band.

Pros:
Sil-Glass provides a very firm heat seal band backing insulation.

Cons: Silicone backing requires more frequent replacement.

Is this configuration ideal for Validation? NO...
this system is not thermally balanced.
