System Design... This heat seal jaw combination uses silicone glass fiber board (Sil-Glass) insulation for the heat seal band backing. The opposed bar is faced with silicone. This provides a surface that conforms to the cutting wire profile, giving a final heat seal width equivalent to that of the heat seal band.
Cons: Silicone backing requires more frequent replacement. Is this configuration ideal for Validation? NO... |
